Enabling opportunities through ICT skills development

Picture
Digital skills play a vital role in our economy, and a broad range of opportunities open up to people with good ICT skills.

In collaboration with partners, Your Ambition (previously South East Essex Technology Centre) supported a three year, match-funded programme designed to develop people’s ICT skills. This included training to develop competences in computer use, support, computer maintenance and servicing, alongside computer recycling. Programme participants also had the opportunity to obtain accreditation for qualifications.

Enabling progression through investment in training and support

Thanks to the programme, over 100 people took part in the training, almost half of whom were disabled or had a debilitating health condition. Following the programme, 32 secured employment and one pursued full time education.

Your Ambition continues to enable people to reach new heights, through programmes that develop skills, provide training, support and rehabilitation. To learn more about our work and to discuss co-funded opportunities contact us today.
